What Makes Valor Different
We know the price of training can be high. Weʼve paid a high price tag to increase
our own capacity and capability. We will:
- Continually encourage you to grow skill through dry-fire practice at home
- On our range, we will do our best to orchestrate what we call “make every round countˮ. Every round fired by you will either serve to prove or improve your skill when combined with coaching.
1. Honest Assessment
We meet you where you are—no shame, no judgment. Your body is instinctively more capable than you think it is, weʼll show you what we mean, then weʼll show you how to improve that capability through structured training.
2. Realistic Stress Training
Your body responds differently when it thinks you’re in danger. We train you to fight with your gun, not just shoot with it. We will continually build your capability through progressive, fun training.
3. Clear Progression
Measurable benchmarks and progressive skill development. You’ll know exactly where you stand and what comes next.
4. Field Training Coach (FTC) Approach
Real-time coaching during live training—not classroom theory followed by range time. We mentor you in the moment, when it counts.
5. Predictable Cost, Maximum Value
- Upfront clarity on what you’re committing to financially
- “Make the most of every box”—sessions structured so every round fired moves toward a specific outcome
- No surprise costs or hidden fees
How Training Works
Step 1: Assessment
You’ll complete basic drills that show us (and you) where you currently are. This isn’t a test—it’s a starting point. Everyone completes a Track 1 Full Training.
Step 2: Track Placement
Based on your assessment, we’ll place you in the appropriate training track. Students must test out of each track to advance—no one moves forward without proficiency.
Step 3: Progressive Development
Training complexity increases with each track. From fundamentals to dynamic problem-solving under pressure.
You’ll experience:
- Real-time coaching from instructors
- Stress inoculation scenarios
- Measurable benchmarks at each level
- Clear path to the next track

FAQ
Q: Do I need to bring my own firearm?
A: Yes. You’ll train with the firearm you carry or intend to carry. You will also need a strong side holster and a sturdy belt. If you have been referred by one of our gun store partners, they will be a great resource for your equipment needs. They have been briefed on what you need to get the full benefit of our training.
Q: What if I'm a complete beginner?
A: Perfect. We meet you where you are. Track 1 is designed for students with little to no experience.
Q: How many sessions will I need?
A: That depends on your goals and current capability. Most students complete Track 1 in 2-3 sessions, then progress to Track 2. We’ll build a personalized training plan after your first session.
Q: What if I can't make a scheduled session?
A: Contact us at least 48 hours in advance and we’ll work with you to reschedule. We make staffing decisions based on headcount. You maintain a credit if you give us 48 hours notice and youʼll be able to use it when youʼre ready to train again.
Q: Do you offer private or group training?
A: Our standard sessions are small-group (4-8 students). For private instruction or corporate/church group training, contact us directly.
